Kartboy Sti rear endlinks for your lifted Forester! How are they holding up? Long term review.

Hey!... Welcome back to another #modmonday! Where I give you my take on an installed part on one of my Subarus. This week we will be looking back on the Kartboy Sti endlinks that are installed on my lifted Forester last year.

Sometimes being lifted has it’s downsides too….

After spending a year lifted with the factory endlinks I decided it was time to swap them out. The spacers cause the factory length endlinks to hold up the suspension from making a full droop and hold a bit of tension when just rolling down the road. I originally replaced them with extendable heim joints which got the job done but after one winter they were basically done... Too much road salt and grime made them very noisy.

Speaking with @Kartboy found that the Gd Sti length should do the trick and so he sent them out for testing. Sitting them next to the old outgoing units I was quite hopeful this was the answer and so far after a year I have had no complaints. A few of my followers were concerned of the angle that the endlinks and that it would cause rapid bushing deterioration, but so far so good on that part!

Not much has changed over the last year, a little rust due to all my winter driving but still in great shape.

Many others would ask why even have rear endlinks on a lifted vehicle? Well, I still like to corner quickly even in my Forester and the one drive I did without them was less than inspiring... So here they stay. Also, I felt it was a good challenge to myself and that it would help others that might be in the same shoes with their lifted Subarus.

So in conclusion I have had zero issues with these and am very pleased that such a simple answer is out there for anyone to install on their Subaru. I also happen to have these on my lowered Sti, so that just shows the quality and versatility of this product. Whether you drive a street driven lifted Forester or a lowered Sti these will get the job done!
