Subaru Oem Euro flares for 03-08 Foresters. The perfect companion for your lonely fenders?
Hey!.... Welcome to a Subaru Oem Edition of #modmonday! I love hearing feedback from you and try to put up reviews of what parts you want to hear about. This week are the Subaru European Fender flares for 03-08 Subaru Foresters! These have spent a year and half on my car and I absolutely love them, one of my favorite upgrades.
When it comes to adding a bit of style to your ride fender flares and wide body kits have become all the rage for the last few years to differentiate your car from the others. While their are many aftermarket offerings they usually don't bolt right up or go on without a bit of body shop help. Which can make it quite the headache as well as adding to the cost. With those in mind I began my hunt for the Oem Euro flares.
I looked and photoshopped quite a few flares on to my car before ultimately searching for a set of Oem flares. Coming from Hungry and not being sold by any American Subaru dealerships can make these hard to come by. But without enough money and search time these can be sourced and that is exactly what I did.
A few reasons I choose these were Oem fitment, any one with moderate automotive skills can install them. They flow wonderfully with the body lines of the car and add what I want but aren't overwhelming. They were the perfect size to line up with my Mr502s giving it an excellent stance. Basically they fit every need I had that I couldn't find when looking through the aftermarket.
They install very simply with clips in the front that snap into the inner fender. Otherwise both use a very sticky 3M doublesided tape. They come unpainted and ready to install with Uv protection if matte black is your color of choice. I color matched them for a more stock appearance.
Look back at old photos pre flares shows just how much the help with the appearance. I do wish they did go a little further down on the front fenders and look a little more “complete’ in my mind. I could go on and on, I just love what these small pieces of plastic did for the car. Lastly, I have been asked if where I got mine quite often as there is a new comer to the market. A company is making fiberglass reps of these and selling them on Facebook. I haven't had the chance to handle these or hear much about them but they do come at a very appealing price.
